Satya yoga center update

So there was that whole scandal back in June which resulted in the MISA/NATHA teachers fleeing from the homeland of yoga, India and they went back to their nice and comfortable home base where not only they are not considered a cult, but are actually subsidized by the city and get monetary support for their activities. Great! But here comes the second chapter of this action saga in spirituality. 

The next phase, let's call it MISA takes over India 2.0 the online version. 

Emanuel and Angela, the perfectly harmonious manifestation of the male and female archetypes aka a male and a female cult member with a certain status in the cult's Danish branch, wrote a newsletter to their victims letting them know that they intend to hold online courses in the future via Skype. 

The classes will also include the famous Tantra classes as well. 

The ad contains the usual condescending instructions regarding the most basic aspects of this event, but that's nothing new. What is new on the other hand is the fact that they are offering it for free, at least for the time being (the latter is not my mean spirited addition but it is specified in their letter).

End of the world or not in 2012 (article recommendation)

An interesting article about the so called end of the world prophecies of 2012. 

The official statement by the National Institute of Anthropological History of Mexico can be found here in Spanish.  

The most interesting aspect, that I've personally not thought of until this point, is: 

"We have to be clear about this. There is no prophecy for 2012," said Erik Velasquez, an etchings specialist at the the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). "It's a marketing fallacy."

The National Institute of Anthropological History in Mexico has been trying to quell the barrage of forecasters predicting the apocalypse. "The West's messianic thinking has distorted the world view of ancient civilizations like the Mayans," the institute said in a statement.

Looking at this only form the perspective of the change in the direction of propaganda in MISA and disregarding the mainstream beliefs about 2012 this is a startling realization. 

Just think of the latest cycle of events like the start of the so called charismatic movement, all the propaganda about the apparition of Mary and her revelations, the entire NO apocalypse program etc. 

I wonder what the excuse will be that the world didn't end. No matter what the end is redefined as. I am curious either way what the justification will be. 

Will it be a world saving meditation? That seems the tendency at this point with the no apocalypse program. 

Or will they just simply declare that the big spiritual jump did actually happen and only those evil people that do not believe can't see it. Like we saw in the case of this years end of the world star Harold Camping. 

Or something entirely different? 

Either way I'm curious. But simple silence and/or a simple misdirection attempt with some new scandal for the yogis to focus on will not do. Until then the countdown can be seen to the right and when the date will come and go without anything that was claimed happening (care to make a million euro wager on that Magnus?) the clock will be changed to a counter until the point at which a sufficient response  and the absolutely necessary apology will be published in the same official manner as all the propaganda was.

So it turns out that those evil demon possessed and just so pure evil and rat-like people who dare to write anonymously against the most perfect and entirely spiritual school - with the ultimate divine mission and who always sign their articles ans always use their real names doing so - have found the original image that was used on the cover of the fake book titled "The Mystic Lady" and that was either attributed wrongly to the author or it was entirely plagiarized minus a few chapters on golden showers the main passion of MISA cult leader Gregorian Bivolaru and who has been working very hard on getting this particular fetish not only accepted but made mandatory in current society. 

Hey I'm all for your sexual liberty, old man, and you can do what ever you can convince your 5000+ lovers to do with you when you are alone with them (or with several of them) but if you guys had your way: 

children wouldn't get vaccinated

poisoning yourself if you're sick would be mandatory

meditation would substitute actual treatment

as well as chewing on plants selected by a non doctor and non expert in any shape or form of biology 

yoga would be mandatory in schools 

geology and astronomy would be replaced with the hollow earth theory sci-fi idea

civic's class would be replaced with neo-nazi propaganda

etc. I could go on but that's not the topic at hand. 

The images published in the official article on the official website as the official response to the criticism  published by (now former) MISA student Mihai Rapcea and which contains an image of the cover of the book (that looks painfully faked at this point) that the officials of the cult declared (in said articles as well as an official statement read out loud during the yoga classes organizes by the cult) that was the source of the translation and that is followed to the letter by the Romanian language edition titled "Doamna miracolului" (The Miracle Lady or something like that).

And one forum member noticed the explanation of the symbolism of the image as follows in a passage from the above mentioned book: 

The latest MISA revelation

A fresh new article on the official website of the cult called MISA reveals to us the answer to the question that has been bugging us ever since that conference by the leader of the cult titled The Good News more precisely why is it alright for people that call themselves spiritual and yogis can rejoice over the deaths of fellow human beings. And here you have the answer: 

volume 6 of John's gospel, where it says that when someone is attacked and his life is put in danger, he can defend himself with all necessary means. 

The above quote refers to the so called chem-trails (for a definition and description given by the cult see the article above) that the official representatives of MISA that publish on the official website declared based on rumors and conspiracy ideas from the internet, that they are a means to poison the population of the Earth, of course motivated by the need of the perfectly controlled and administered satanic organization (in the eyes of the yogis of MISA) called Freemasons and lately Illuminati to do bad things for the sake of doing bad things. 

Something that is not mentioned in the article and to this moment was not declared anywhere in any official manner is the microscopic problem of where these Freemasons will go if according to their own orders the entire planet will be poisoned. 

I have my own hypothesis about this (and I have the decency to call it that and not a divine and unquestionable revelation) that the leaders of MISA believe in the ideas promoted by David Icke and more specifically that the Illuminati/Freemasons are in fact evil aliens that want to take over humanity and that are currently disguised as the leaders of the world. 

I say this based on the fact that publishing houses controlled by MISA published David Icke's books and these books were (and most likely still are) sold in an official manner during the events organized by MISA and the meditations and revelations about the Galactic Federation (or what it was called) of beneficial aliens to whom the Christian students of MISA who practice a form of sport that is in no way in conflict with their religious beliefs (according to the official position of the cult), prayed to so that these aliens come to the Earth and save them form the evil aliens.  

So what is the message of this article? In my opinion, considering the events of the past years and especially those of the last few months, MISA wants to convince it's followers, aka the cult's faithful members, that: 

1. everything that is declared in an official manner by the leaders of the cult is the absolute truth and it can not be questioned irrespective of the conditions ans especially irrespective of the facts that the followers is aware of because such a behavior is punished in the most severe manner

2. all those who dare to express their opinion that is not in perfect concordance with the official position have to be eliminated from the cult

3. the follower has to do everything the cult's leaders tell him/her to do

4. there is an ongoing war between the Freemasons ans the cult called MISA in which the followers of the cult are the warriors of good and the Freemasons and those who are not in agreement with the cult are the warriors of evil or Satan himself

5. in this war everything is allowed and all tools at the followers disposal are allowed and supported by the word of Jesus and the word of Grieg. In the example above the all the tools at their disposal are permitted is supported by a passage from a Gnostic gospel and that has been translated and adapted according to the taste of the cult'l leaders and sold or given as a present in the same cult in an official manner that suggests it is a part of the official doctrine of the school. 

One question remains:

are we seeing the beggining if a transformation of the cult MISA into a group of religious terrorists like Aum Shinrikyo/Aleph? 

And if so can they still be stopped before they really do something bad against the commoners and the enemies of the cult, declared demonic by the leaders if MISA?

Is there such a things as reincarnation (video recommendation)

I'm not really into the format or how it's handled but you might be interested in this (rather light) discussion about reincarnation.

5x1 = 5 or hidden mystical significance?

So yesterday was the 11 day of the 11th month of (no, not the year 11 but the year) 2011. 

So what, you might think, and you would be right. 

But as we saw exemplified by our favorite little cult some people, "many of them with college education and some with doctoral titles" think that numbers are magic and eventually a magic ritual performed on a magic date (if you want to read the numerology BS of MISA click here) will result in the literal deaths of tens of thousands of the imagined enemies of a group of non-meat eating people because that (eating meat) would contradict the non-violence principle of yoga. But praying for the death of others and rejoicing over the death of other human beings via atomic bombing in a subterranean closed place is very spiritual and in no way conflicting with the principle of non-violence.* Makes perfect sense doesn't it? 

So on this special day the superstitious (and malicious) performed a ritual (to ask their imaginary friend to kill their enemies) and more rational people wrote articles like this. 

What did you do on this (not) special day?

*the first claim is made by MISA leader Gregorian Bivolaru based on some crazy conspiracy website he was told about (I highly doubt that he actually read it himself because I've heard him speck English), the second one is my personal opinion based on the fact that I am a human being who doesn't jump from joy when I hear that other people have died. Hey maybe I'm too demonic and not in tone with "teh spiritual" to get how that is compatible with the claim of being spiritual and a yogi and in tune with god's mind. 

Mihai Stoian and the difficulties of logic and language

Language and logic are apparently to extremeley difficult subjects for astro(logy)-physicist Mihai Stoian leader of MISA's northern European branch NATHA. 

Here's the latest pearl from his personal blog: 

In contrast to the common notion of a flash mob which is based more on anarchy than spontaneity, and which reflects the current mediocre and decadent state of art today, Anima Mundi’s ‘flash mob’ performances at the metro were extremely well thought out and planned down to the last detail. Consequently, they gave room for the divine spontaneity to manifest, allowing the hearts of the audience to open up to the sublime resonances which the performers manifested through their beings. In a place which is usually reserved for the fleeting passing of people busy about their daily activities, their minds filled with a myriad of thoughts and ideas as they hurry on to the future, the unusual presence of the archangels and angels momentarily turned the mundane into something profoundly spiritual, transporting those who stopped to watch the marvel unfold into a sacred world where sublime aspirations and divine revelations reign.

So Mihai what was that? Something was planned out to the very last detail and that let the divine spontaneity to manifest? What? Does that divine have OCD? Or what? 

Oh questions like these have good MISA yogis going for years and years. The incomprehensible mysteries of logic and common sense. 

God please kill all those whom I don't like

In an interesting (and according to MISA beliefs impossible) synchronicity the MISA affiliated Delia Carreon from the Open your heart project wrote a decent piece about the notion of forgiveness on her blog. You can read that here.

The synchronicity is that I just read this after reading the partial transcript and listening to the partial audio of the latest of Gregorian Bivolaru's (MISA's spiritual leader) conferences about the extraordinary good news that over 60.000 people have died in an atomic bomb attack by the US army certain gigantic underground cities. You can download the first part of the conference here. And here's a partial transcript with the most gruesome details highlighted (it's in Romanian). 

Why do I say that this is an impossible synchronicity according to MISA beliefs? Because according to popular MISA superstition (I use the term superstition because this notion has 0 evidence besides the active imaginations of MISA students) synchronicities only happen to you if you are on a right path and are doing god's will. And since I'm writing this and I regularly visit and write on the most demonic website on the entire demonic and preponderantly yang Internet and since I have left the only true and right spiritual path that exists (aka MISA) that means that I have failed certain (but never mentioned and never explained) spiritual tests and I have brought on myself demons that torture me I could never ever experience such a divine blessing.

Well.....

This is going to be a long rant, so read at your own discretion. 

They can believe what they want if

There's no harm in any of the beliefs held by MISA students/disciples/sympathizers/what ever they are called this year. 

There's no harm in them believing the things they believe since they are nice people and aren't hurting anyone. 

There's no harm in them believing silly things without good basis. 

Etc are heard left and right from nice old ladies in Herculane and Costineşti around the time of the MISA camps. Plus the eventual outbreak of Orthodox pride specific to Romanian Orthodox believers, especially if they are of a certain generation and of a certain age, nameley: they can do what ever they want during these gatherings because it looks inoffensive enough to me, but only if it is according to the bible. If not they can go to hell. 

Well maybe they won't express it in these exact words, but something like that. 

September 5th (post camp cultish celebration)

Well the big camp is officially over but of course being a cult and all the good devoted members can't help but hold a separate cultish celebration in order to thank the great and oh so gracious master for the camp. 

According to official MISA position GB isn't reveared as a god or the second after Jesus or a guru or anything like that. He's only a yoga teacher. The only true yoga teacher at MISA at that but hey.

Well here's proof of the contrary (notice the not so subtle hints in the email):

Remember that these revelations, courses, spiritual integrations  camps, etc exist because of two reasons: the infinite love of the spiritual guide, inspired by God the Father and the aspiration of those of us who intuitively feel or recognize this. I wish you a divinely inspired meditation!

Phase 2

After that marathon of blogging all the way through August and the very busy few months before I've decided to take a little break. 

But don't worry it's not going to be like the one before where I don't write anything for months. 

If something interesting comes along I will write about it or post a link to it. 

I've even thought of following the good example of MISA bloggers and recommend articles by others. Of course with the appropriate modification of giving the link and not copy-pasting it like it's my own work. A sort of weekly selection of links maybe? I haven't decided yet. 

As for the future, and phase 2 of the blog, I thought I'll do a little proofreading of the post published up until this point as well as continuing (and maybe translating it to English and Romanian) the series I started to write about the problems with MISA (originally in Hungarian here). 

I'll try to do a summary of arguments and try to write up a deconstruction by topics. But that's the future. 

I wanted to do this for a while now. I have no idea how long it's going to take or even if I'm going to finish it. I'm just going to take a little break now and hopefully come back with more ideas for the future (and maybe less rambling and ranting).

But these were once the main attraction of the camps and were somewhere in the middle of the camp. Wonder why that's changed?

The tango of lies - MISA and the scandal in Argentina

First of all this is announced as a press release of the Yoga and Alternative Sciences School form Argentina, released in Buenos Aires, Argentina on the 30th of August 2011.

Which interestingly is nowhere to be found on the official website of said organization (Escuela de Yoga y Ciencia alternativa en Argentina) And neither is it on this one or this one. 

Well sorry guys but this way you can't really complain that your reaction to the news stories doesn't get a response form the press that wrote about you. Not if you don't publish it on the actual website of the organization and not if you publish it only in a different language than that of the news articles. As of today September the 2nd (the press release date is August 31st!) at 11:30 when I looked it was nowhere to be found on and was not available in English or French on. 

Just the fact that it's out there on the internet on a website that you have control over doesn't mean that it reaches the people it should. So don't you dare to complain that you did not get it published in the original newspaper that wrote about your shady businesses.

This is the famous women's conference of MISA one of their most popular events. It basically consists of long boring speeches, a few meditations here and there and watching porn movies together for at least 20 hours. These events are incredibly long. They usually start in the afternoon and sometimes last until the next morning. The women usually come and go all day long, many of them don't stay for the porn movies, that are part of the special conference. They are not the MISA porn movies but a selection of porn movies (selected supposedly by the great tantric master Gregorian "Magnus Aurolsson" Bivolaru himself). The more interesting aspect of this is that some of these movies are edited together from several movies, putting the appropriate sections together. And they never ever contain ejaculation, or what in porn lingo is called cum shot (wikipedia article). Because ejaculation is of the devil so to speak in MISA culture. The irony is that these are mainstream porn movies all of them containing scenes of ejaculation which are painfully obvious form the really hard jump cuts.

Finally a truly free access event. All you need is your personal ID to participate. And of course to stick to the rigid rules of MISA. I just don't know what they would do if a few hundred outsiders would show up and want to participate. Especially since they put up a literal fence this year. 

And what would they do if some of those people would not respect the rules. After all the only punishment they can give out is to take away the participant's camp pass, which is not the case here so what would be the right, spiritual and spiritual hero-like procedure in this case. I would be really curious what instructions the order team got for this extra special event.

Feeding it this way, ceaselessly I also feed my soul. This aspiration manifested every second will help me be closer and closer to god".

Keep in mind also that according to official MISA doctrine rock music is bad because it has demonic influences and so is jazz because it produces a certain bad mental state. But of course loud disco music is divine and helps bring in the good kind of resonances to the naive disciple.

Don't you see how deeply and mysteriously you need Grieg? Can't you see that you just can't be without him?

At the end of this series another (again most likely fictional) mantra is given, which you can also see get here for free. This initiation from my part is just as effective as the one given in MISA, minus the boring several hours long speeches about everything but the topic, and minus the money, and the oath you need to take for MISA.
The oath meaning to swear that you do not divulge the (worthless) secret of this great initiation. This is very important for MISA. Just like for the Freemasons they "fight" so so "hard".

I'll write up the mantra in nice bold letters the day the MISA imitation is happening and you have my permission to pass it on as much as you like.

The actual MISA initiation implies standing in line for a couple of hours and then going in a room one-by-one and having a random guy/gal tells you the big secret mantra, asks you to repeat it and then proceeds to pushes his/her index and middle fingers in the middle of your forehead until it hurts enough and you stand like this for about 2 minutes so that it seems like you are actually receiving something. 

Well since (as I mentioned last time) this mantra is entirely Gregorian Bivolaru's invention you can use it just like any other given in MISA, because it's just as effective.

First part of the "conference" about Indra. Duration 3 hours 10 minutes. 

Here's the wikipedia entry for the god Indra and based on my experience this is much more clear and makes more sense than the endless hours of the greatest spiritual masters monotone drivel. 

And unlike the MISA version wikipedia does not require a special ID, nor does it require you to upload 2 pictures of yourself in a bikini to it's servers for an aura check, nor the requirement to be an editor of wikipedia and nor does it require a wikipedia moderator to vouch for you in order to access the information. 

Taking notes is allowed at this event. Wonder why the trance initiation is so super secret that people can't even take notes even though the method is on the internet just like the mantra of Indra. 

You also need to know that according to the master himself this mantra that the participants will get at the end of this series of conferences is not from any traditional source or scripture but rather was revealed to him personally by the god Indra. So authentic yoga right there. 

August 13th (MISA Yoga camp commentary 2011)

Access is based on camp pass and yoga course ID. Access sis allowed only for those from the 9-22 years of yoga. 

So this is another classic in MISA camps. Not only is the camp exclusive to MISA students there are even more exclusive groups for which you have to be in a certain yoga year to be able to participate.

Remmeber the other day the news report in which a MISA student told the news reporters that yoga is not a religion. Sure here is yet another wonderful example of exactly what kind of beliefs MISA students have. Sure maybe not all of them but those who participate in this celebration should believe this (very incompatible with their starting point Christianity) otherwise their hypocrites. 

And I wonder if this is the inspiration for the spiritual group and the celebration for (not of but for!) peace. Personally I've never seen this in any camp program (those I've participated in and those I have not) and considering that MISA almost never has original ideas but rather copies what has been proven to work for other newage group.

Trance initiation 

Part 1, duration 5 hours 45 minutes. Good thing they didn't tell that the first time the faithful yogis of MISA were initiated in this extraordinary and unique technique and when they had to sit for 12-48 hours in the famous big yellow circus tent in order to receive this great and once in a lifetime information. 

You need a special "trance ID" in order to get in. This (front, back) was mine the first time they did this trance bs. Feel free to make your own and try to participate. But keep in mind that this is only the women's ID and that you probably need a camp pass as well. 

The change since the first time when I participated is that people can't make notes anymore. I suspect that this is due to the fact that the whole technique is available on the internet here and here.  

Oh and for the naive and full of aspiration first year students for whom this is the first camp: if you have been told that it was never allowed to take notes during this initiation or for that matter any other initiation in the camps, you have been lied to. Taking notes was never a problem until the whole trance initiation ended up public. So keep that in mind and don't forget to ask the person who told you that some follow up questions. 

August 8th (MISA Yoga camp commentary 2011)

12:30 – 13:00 Exemplification: Meditation upon the states of profound inspiration that appear when we are faced with godly synchronicity phenomena. 

13:05 – 13:25  Meditation: Laya yoga with the mantra of the great cosmic power Matangi. 

Now that's just lazy. But seriously, this is another classic: the main meditation of the day (the one around noon) is always a meditation with the patron cosmic power of the camp. Why? It was never explained neither in the written program that the participants get, neither in the presentation of the meditation. But why bother with making sense when the whole point is to feel and to feel good and to stop thinking.

And the strange part of the meditation is that those who have the initiation in the mantra of Matangi (that is given in MISA, which by the way is AIM) have according to MISA doctrine the most superior form of the technique and they should be able to do this in silence while the meditation that is held in the camp is always with the cosmic power's music (supposedly chosen by the master based on the appropriate resonances in the song, but never actually composed by the master or any of his advanced disciples who are musicians). How is that supposed to work?
Now the problem is that the mantra is given in a pretty high year and so many people need to do the meditation in another way in order to be able to access the subtle field of the cosmic power in question (hey it's their beliefs not mine, don't ask me to make sense of this) so the organizers provide them with the (also according to MISA doctrine) the least they could do: the least effective way of resonating with a form of god: the meditation with music.

Oh and don't think for a second that the above wikipedia article is in any way less than the exceptional and special information you would get if you were at the camp. The presentations that are given by some yoga instructor on the stage in the camp are much more poor that these. And at least wikipedia provides sources for these unlike MISA. And while you're at it if the subject actually interests you, you can find out dozens of times more in an hour of googling and reading than in that 20 minute meditation. You can even put on some nice ambient or trance music while you do so. And then you won't even feel a difference. And you won't have to pay for it.

Again with the generosity and similar good stuff. MISA claims (through it's official representatives the yoga instructors and website) that if the sufficient number of people meditate together for a certain cause like for example the decrease of crime in a region then that will surely happen. 

Well we could see that there were an awful lot of meditations with nice and mild topics like these in the begging of the camp. We still need to see any evidence that all of these meditations have had any effect on or change in all those people that participated (many of them several years in a row) in these camps. Until now I did not see any evidence of this, only the subjective claims and wishful thinking of the cult members themselves. But I still eagerly await your evidence MISA. 

The above claim by the way was copied from the Transcendental Meditation Movement, that Gregorian Bivolaru lately has claimed to have started in Romania (little hint if you are not too familiar with MISA yet: it's not true). TM also claimed to be able to do this, yet wasn't able to provide proof either. 

I personally have heard the exact same claim form a MISA instructor as a proof of the authenticity of MISA teachings. And yes of course she also made the claim that the authorities covered it up just because they are pure evil. So MISA not only translates and adapts the books it publishes but also translates and adapts the various claims that it's people think are in some way cute or spiritual. 

I don't know about you but that's not too spiritual or too nice in my opinion.

August 6th (MISA Yoga camp commentary 2011)

Now finally the fun stuff starts. First up there's the big event that was so unique that you needed to participate the very first year because who knows when the master will decide in his divine wisdom to allow this exceptional initiation again. 

In the first year none of the events went as planned. There were horribly long conferences on the topic. And when I say long I mean a minimum of 12 hours long conferences that contained about 2 hours of actual material read out loud by the great master himself in a very ragged out manner, accentuating every other word even if it was not necessary to do so. Incredibly boring. 

The conferences were supposed to last only until the end of August but they managed to drag it out until the very last day in September. The purpose of this in my opinion was to select only those who were truly dedicated to the cult and had no life to g back to. 

Oh and did I mention that this was the first initiation that you had to pay separately for? 

So not only did you have to pay for 11 months of yoga classes, the HIV and syphilis tests and the camp fee you had to pay for this separately. And then there were the special plant mixtures that you could buy, also for a rather huge price. And the recipe is a big secret to this day, so that only the official one can be bought so that the money goes in the right pocket. But of course MISA is not a cult. MISA only acts like a cult on every level. 

Since ten they have put the CD with the pre-recorded message from the master on various times and by this time all of the disciples should have listened to it. Exception of course is the newcomers. I'm assuming these are for them only. 

So first you need to sign up for the trance initiation at the headquarters. According to the official announcement those who were not allowed back in 2007 and 2008 can also try again. It is also specified that the forms can only be completed personally in the headquarters. 

I don't really remember anymore what that form contained I just remember that you had to have a separate picture for this that was put aside along with your completed form. Why all the bureaucracy I wonder. Couldn't they tell form the picture alone that someone will not practice it so he/she is not worthy of it? Or that someone will make the super-secret technique known publicly? 

Because that's what happened. And that's what all this fuss is supposed to have prevented. Now they don't allow anyone to take any notes at the big initiation, but please. If half of what you claim is true you should not need this dear advanced yogis. 

Oh well. Here's the entire trance initiation and technique in Romanian. Sorry I have no time to translate that too. If someone volunteers I'll be happy to post it.

Again need I point out that according to MISA doctrine if you can see in the Akasha chronicles you can see past and future with the same amount of ease. Then how the hell can't you do what I suggested above? Or the million other things that you could use this power to do. Ever considered that a good imagination isn't equal to actual knowledge?

I't that time of the year.

The most important event in the (MISA) year has started in Costineşti: the annual (MISA exclusive) yoga camp.
I recommend you read my past posts about the topic of MISA an it's "yoga camps" here and here as well as watch the excellent documentary here if you haven't already.
You might also want to check out my day-to-day posts about the event entitled MISA Yoga camp commentary 2011. I'll be posting daily about the events of the camp. It's not like a report form location but it's more like a commentary about the ideas presented. When the eventual news reports about the camp pop up I'll post a link to those as well.

August 4th (MISA Yoga camp commentary 2011)

14:00 – 14:30  Exemplification: Evoking and communion with the great yogi Sri Yukteswar. 

The meditations with characters from the supposedly autobiographical book of Paramahamsa Yogananda are somewhat a tradition in the MISA camps. 

The book itself (this is a link to the MISA version, translated and adapted to the level of understanding of his stupid disciples who wouldn't understand anything not translated in this manner by the master himself from a language he barely speaks. Now that is some sort of paranormal performance right there. And don't ask my why the actual person who's autobiography this is supposed to be and who wrote the book and who has his photograph on the cover of almost every other edition of the book has in the MISA version a painting of a mythological immortal yogi's image on the cover. If you can think like a MISA yogi you know why, I just can't find any normal, rational reason for it) is recommended reading for first year MISA students and is presented the ideal path for a modern yogi with the occasional MISA specific change. 

Never mind that it is also full of fictional events and bs. Reality has absolute no worth to MISA and it's leader Gregorian "omniscient and in communion with god all the time" Bivolaru.

Or otherwise known as the anthropic principle, that MISA never actually teaches under that name but hints to it in various ways, among them this type of meditations. For why this is utter bullshit see.
